Hamm’s DV+ 90i tandem roller comes with Easy Drive operating concept that ensures top-class ergonomics and ease of operation. From the fully glazed panoramic cab, the operator enjoys an unmatched view of the drum edges, the edge pressing and cutting equipment and the construction site at all times. Additional viewing panels in the cabin floor also allow the operator an uninterrupted view of the drums or wheels. Thanks to the pivot steering with large track offset, the DV+ 90i roller can be controlled with precision in four different steering modes. In addition, the roller is fitted with split vibrating drums as standard. Together with the uniform weight distribution and the automatic system for gentle acceleration and braking, they produce asphalt surfaces of impeccable smoothness – even in tight curves.

Productivity
- The DV+ series tandem rollers are fitted with large front and rear water tanks to ensure top productivity. A connecting pipe between the tanks ensures even filling and weight distribution while the efficient triple water filtration and central pressurised filling system ensure maximum availability.
- When compacting around tight curves, alongside curbs, rerolling or completing the after edge pressing, the DV+ series tandem rollers deliver precision. They are equipped with pivot steering with an extremely large turning angle, very large track offset and four steering modes.
- Two split drums result in quality results. The two halves of the drum go around corners at different speeds to prevent the formation of cracking and bulging in asphalt.
- The generously dimensioned fuel and water tanks allow operators to work long, productive intervals.
Efficiency
- Reduce water consumption with the capable sprinkling system. It works with two pumps to ensure that water is always supplied to the drums. A further pump is provided for sprinkling the edge pressing and cutting equipment and can be independently activated separately from the drum water sprinkling system.
Safety
- The DV+ series operator’s platform offers roller drivers a perfect view of the entire working environment, including the drums, from the fully glazed panoramic cabin and the wide viewing panes in the floor to ensure maximum safety. Large viewing panes from inside the cab allow for an excellent view of the drum edges and the edge pressing and cutting equipment from the side of the cabin.
- Auto-reverse allows the operator to brake and accelerate the rollers quickly, yet gently while the operator seat automatically turns in the direction of travel when reversing ensuring comfortable, ergonomic operation with top safety.
