Brandt Donation Delivers Greater Access To Sport.
April 5, 2023
On Apr. 4, at game #3 of the WHL playoffs, Brandt announced a $50,000 donation to the Regina Outdoor Hockey League. Shaun and Gavin Semple, owners of the Regina Pats and the Brandt Group of Companies, were there to present the cheque to the organization.
“We believe that everyone should have the right to play. Thanks to this generous donation from Brandt, even more Regina youth will have the opportunity to play the sport they love,” says Gloria Patrick, Ehrlo Sport Venture Program Manager.
Regina Outdoor Hockey League, operated by Ehrlo Sport Venture, offers free recreational opportunities for families that are unable to participate in traditional, organized sports. All equipment is provided, eliminating the need for hard-to-afford purchases like helmets, pads, and skates. The outdoor hockey league is open to all youth aged six to 16 and runs at eight rinks throughout the city. For more information, email sportventure@ranchehrlo.ca.
The donation is part of the Brandt Thanks A Billion program, which shows the company’s gratitude to our customers, employees, and communities in a tangible way. Since the program began in 2011, we have provided $22 million in support to initiatives that have made a real impact on the health and wellbeing of the communities in which we live and work.
