Big Brandt GrainCarts walk softly.
New tire and track options reduce ground pressure by up to 80%.
Brandt Agricultural Products Ltd. is pleased to announce two exciting new flotation tire and track systems for their 1020XR and 1322XR GrainCarts that will dramatically increase flotation and reduce soil compaction.
“Significant strides in both flotation tire and rubber track technologies allow us to add these exciting new options to our product line,” says Brandt Agricultural Products Canadian Sales Manager, Arnie Josephson. “Our customers will now be able to operate this equipment under a broader range of conditions; allowing them to make the most of short production seasons and unpredictable weather conditions.”
Improved, highly-‐flexible low sidewall flotation tire designs now allow for significantly reduced tire pressures and larger contact patches. This means that producers can be operating at peak capacity under a broader range of conditions with less risk of soil damage or weather-‐related downtime.
For even greater flexibility, new track options have also been added that reduce ground pressures from 66psi to as little as 13psi; a reduction of up to 80%. These track systems make use of durable oil bath hubs, mechanical spring tension systems, and wear-‐reducing stamped steel idlers and bogies to ensure maximum stability and reduced undercarriage wear.
These exciting new product options will be unveiled at the Brandt Agricultural Products Ltd. booth at Canada's Farm Progress Show in Regina, June 17-19, 2015.
