Fort McMurray Updates

The catastrophic fire that has ripped through Fort McMurray, Alberta over the past few days has dramatically impacted the community and the Brandt family in so many ways and our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been affected. Our immediate focus has been ensuring that our team is safe and we are pleased to report all of our people are accounted for and have been safely evacuated. Additionally, our facility in the Gregoire Industrial Park remains intact. We will continue to monitor the situation and post updates. We stand ready to support you in any way that we can.

In recognition of our essential and ongoing role in supporting emergency efforts, Brandt is pleased to report that we have been granted access to our facilities and are working hard to restore a complete range of services to support you in these difficult circumstances.
Our Fort McMurray branch has been quickly transitioning to a safe restart and we now have Territory Manager Paul Ayearst, a fully-operational field service truck and a partsman working out of our Gregoire location along with a parts delivery truck based out of Edmonton to support any of our customers presently operating in the Fort McMurray area. As reported on Monday, our Fort McMurray Management Team, Field Dispatch, Territory Managers and CSA’s are temporarily set up in Edmonton and are prioritizing any customer calls for product support and equipment requirements. The Brandt team at our 24/7 Customer Call Center has been fully briefed on the critical situation in Fort McMurray and remains on high alert, ready to respond to your needs any time - day or night. Our attention has now shifted to ensuring we have a support plan in place to address any immediate needs our customers may have. Effective immediately, our Fort McMurray management team and field service dispatch have been temporarily relocated to our West Edmonton facility. These are familiar faces who understand your business and the current situation and can make things happen quickly for you. In addition, the Brandt team at our 24/7 Customer Call Center is fully aware of the critical situation in Fort McMurray and is ready to respond to your needs any time - day or night. Please continue to call the Fort McMurray direct line at (780) 791-6635 and your call will be transferred to an appropriate Fort McMurray employee who will assist you. Our Customer Support Advisors and Territory Managers also stand ready to respond to any of your needs via their normal email and cell phone numbers.
As the situation remains very fluid, we will be adjusting our plans as the conditions change. Once the fire is extinguished and Highway 63 is re-opened, we have a plan in place to get our people and facility back up and running as quickly as possible.
