Features

Heavy-duty Hauling

Off-road transmission, tridem drive axles, and the non-torque reactive suspension deliver power and torque while performing highway speeds of up to 65 mph and on-rail speeds of 30 mph and 25 mph in reverse.

Effortless Adaptability

Tractive effort is controlled at the push of a button to suit changing track conditions by adjusting the shelf coupler and weight distribution between rail and drive wheels.

Easily Available Operator Data

Configurable system information is safely presented to the operator via a large 10″ touchscreen display alongside other critical truck information. All system information is readily available for maximum efficiency.

Protect From the Cold

Optional hydraulic tank heater for cold weather improves functionality and protects sensitive hydraulics from damage.

Easier to Maintain

The transmission, hydraulics, and air compressor cooler are assembled on a single structure, so you can tilt the machine out of the way for easier cleaning and have great service access.

Enhanced Traction

Traction management has 100% duty cycles, air knives, and sanders with continuous aeration to prevent material buildup. Twenty-four new ballast plates located behind the axles increase traction when pushing railcars from the front coupler.

Intuitive Controls

The switch panels have large intuitive icons with a colour interface to indicate function status, including lockouts if a unit or function is not available.

Simple and Safe Hitch

Trailer hitch lift locking mechanism is powered by air spring pots, minimizing latching steps and improving safety.

OTM Tracker Configuration

The OTM Tracker model powers the OTM Tracker system, a highly productive and safe material handling systems for tracks. The OTM Tracker is hauled by the R5 Power Unit on the highway and loads on to rail cars at a crossing with the R5’s lift deck. It can take on various high-production MOW material handling jobs, such as ties and crossing planks, with a continuous swing bypass grapple. The OTM Tracker with a 48” magnet and 15 kW generator can manage tie plates, rails, and other OTM materials.
