The Brandt Skidder Grapple is a robust two cylinder overarm grapple that is mounted to the factory dozer blades on the front of the John Deere Skidder machines. These grapples provides the operator with another level of control for cleaning and moving excess limbs, bark, flail or any other objects around to maintain a clean and efficient worksite.

Features
- Overarm includes a rear riser that makes the blade three feet taller for increased capacity, pushing ability and support for large volumes. The top portion of the riser is constructed of pipe to ensure operator maintains excellent visibility out front.
- Overarm can be lifted clean out of the way to ensure blade can still perform the task it was designed for when pushing piles. It also has a secondary function to help corral the pile and also prevent logs and branches from piling over the blade and hitting the front radiator.
- The gradual curvature provides a large envelope to grab large volumes of debris.
- Grapple weight is kept to a minimum to avoid any extra stress to front blade or slowing down blade operation but it built strong to withstand the harsh operating environments these machines face on a day to day operation.
- Multiple tines, gussets, bars make up the overarm to provide a firm solid grasp and compaction of even the most awkward materials.
- Two heavy duty cylinders mounted to the rear of the grapple provide a strong clamping force to ensure all the material is held tight in the grapple while transporting over uneven terrain.
- Provides additional tasks and jobs for the typically purpose built skidder machine. After hauling a load to the load site the skidder usually heads back empty; the Skidder can now take a load of waste on trip back to increase bottom line production and eliminate excess fuel consumption. Skidder can also be used to create roads or general spreading of the excess debris after the cut is finished.
