Brandt Thread Tables integrate with the most modern machine tools. These CNC machine tools are big bore lathes, often called Threaders used to produce both API and premium threads on tube and pipe. The Brandt Thread Table offers a competitive edge by positioning material in and out of the Threaders quickly and accurately considerably reducing cycle times versus alternative methods. Minimizing pipe handling cycle times is a critical variable to ensure the investment in the machine tool is achieving the maximum return. Brandt Thread Tables can handle pipe from 2 3/8" to 16" in diameter and weighs up to 5500 pounds.

Encoder Wheel improves yield

The encoder wheel reduces waste by measuring the distance the pipe travels as it moves towards its final position inside the lathe. Accurately controlling the end position of the pipe to 0.060" inside the lathe improves yield by ensuring the minimum amount of pipe has to be cut off before the threading operation begins. Choose the Z30 Touchless option for accuracy up to 0.030".

Vertical Pinch Rolls reduce cost

Save time and repair costs with optional pinch rolls. These rolls are used at the head of the Thread Table to protect the machine tool. The new design is meant to eliminate costly repairs caused when pipes bump the machine tool upon entry. It also means more accurate position of the pipe in the machine tools reducing overall cycle time to produce a thread.

Containment Rolls increase safety

Increase the safety factor and reduce costs with optional containment rolls. These rolls dampen the whipping motion of pipe, allowing the machine tool to produce API and premium threads on the end of each pipe with greater confidence and less rejects.
